Get Involved in the Democratic Party of Macon County
Interested in helping expand the Democratic message in Macon County, but not sure if you want to become a precinct committeeperson? There are plenty of opportunities to still lend a hand! We are always looking for folks with the following skills and interests:
Canvassers
We always have candidates that are looking for some help with knocking on doors and talking to neighbors.
Phone Bankers
Same as canvassers but making phone calls!
Parade Walkers
Writing Postcards to Voters
Writers and Content Creators
Press release writers, website updates, etc.
There are also many opportunities to assist on Election Day including
- Poll Watchers
- Runners
- Placing campaign signs at polling places
- Phone banking
